What started as a few pots in the backyard has become my happy place, a little stand filled with home-grown goodness, love, and connection.
Every Friday, I restock the stand with fresh seedlings, herbs, and flowers, and I love seeing the messages that come through from people who stop by. It means so much to know that something grown with love in my garden now grows in yours.
This space isn’t just about plants, it’s about possibility. It’s about creating a life around what you love instead of fitting what you love around work. It’s about slowing down, getting your hands in the soil, and remembering that growth happens one small seed at a time.
Sharing this journey lights me up. I hope it inspires you to find your own sanctuary, your own little garden of peace, joy, and nourishment.
Over time, I noticed that a few simple areas made the biggest difference in how our home felt. I don’t try to do everything. I just come back to these basics and let them support the way we live.

We’re mindful about the water in our home and how it supports everyday routines. It’s one of those background choices that quietly makes a difference over time.

I’ve made a few swaps at home where it felt practical to do so. Nothing extreme. Just changes that help our space feel calmer and easier to maintain.

Gardening isn’t about self-sufficiency for me. It’s about staying connected to what we eat and spending time outside, even in small ways.
You’ll often see this water in the background of my kitchen, the garden, or everyday life at home. I don’t talk about it loudly or often, but it’s become such a normal part of how we live that people regularly ask about it. This page exists simply to share what we use, why we chose it, and how it fits into our home and values.

We use a Kangen Leveluk K8 water system at home. We’ve had it since April 2023, and it’s now part of our everyday routines. It gives us different types of water for different uses around the house. Drinking. Washing produce. Cleaning. These days, it’s used throughout the day without much thought. It’s just part of how our home runs.

We use the water for drinking, cooking, washing fruit and vegetables, general cleaning, and everyday life at home. I also use it in the garden, including watering plants and cut flowers, and even for quick hand cleaning when I’m moving between garden jobs. Our cat drinks it too. It’s replaced many separate products we used to buy and has simplified how we do things day to day.
When I first learned about this water, I wasn’t actively looking for it. I was craving a different way of living. More time at home. More stability. A life that felt calmer and more supportive. At the time, I was a single mum, stretched financially, unsure about my options, and wanting something to change without burning myself out.
I won’t pretend this was an easy or small decision. It felt big and a bit scary. I hadn’t taken out a loan before, and I was nervous about committing to something I was still learning about. I was knocked back initially, tried again, and eventually decided to trust the process. Over time, it’s saved us money by replacing bottled water and many cleaning products, and it’s reduced the amount of plastic we bring into our home.
For me, this water fits because it aligns with how I want to live. Fewer plastics. Fewer products. More intention. One system that supports drinking, cleaning, and everyday use made sense long term. It wasn’t about fixing anything or chasing perfection. It was about choosing something that supported our home and the way we want to live.

Yes, it’s an investment. And it’s probably the most common question I get. For me, it came down to this. We were already spending money on my health, cleaning products, and things that didn’t last or didn’t really support us long-term. This felt like choosing one thing we use every single day, instead of constantly replacing lots of smaller things.
Everyone’s situation is different. This page isn’t here to convince anyone. It’s simply here to share how we made the decision, and why it made sense for us.
If you’d like to learn more about the water we use at home, you’re welcome to explore further.
There’s no urgency and no pressure to decide anything. Some people like to understand more before taking the next step. Others decide it’s not for them. Both are completely okay.

Whether you’re here to learn about the water, or you’re simply here for the food photos, slower living, and everyday life I share, you’re welcome.
This page exists to share information, not to persuade.
Take what’s useful. Leave the rest.

I’m not a polished influencer or a high-pressure coach. I show up as I am, often in the garden, sometimes in fluffy slippers, speaking plainly and honestly.
I’ve built my life gradually, making practical choices that support how I want to live now. When people choose to work with me, it’s usually because they want clarity without pressure, and support that feels human, grounded, and real.

Over time, people have shared how small changes at home have supported them in different ways. Everyone’s experience is their own. These are a few of the messages I’ve been sent.

“After making a few changes at home, including the water we drink, I noticed a real difference in how I felt day to day. I appreciated being able to take things at my own pace without pressure.”
- Jasmine S. Hagerty

“Finding this space helped me rethink how I work and live as a solo mum. It wasn’t about doing more, just choosing what mattered and having support while I figured it out.”

“I came across this during a really uncertain time and appreciated the practical, steady approach. It gave me options without asking me to overhaul my life.”

“What stood out to me was the community. It felt supportive without being overwhelming, and I never felt pushed to do anything before I was ready.”
- Megan Sheedy
